In the summer 2015 I produced an illustration for Kirsti Paltto's Sami children's book called Valkoinen kivi (White Stone). Book contains a colored cover and 12 black and white illustrations, here is one example. :)

The project was also my thesis, and objective was to find answers to the questions of how to emphasize the Sami aspect visually and how to give life to the black and white illustrations.

So, this is a custom-made work back from the 2012. My motor skills with camera weren't that good back then, as you might tell from the cropping... :) Ok, still, it looks like a baby so we are fine.
